So yeah, yeah, Kefir is clearly good for your health... but it is also DELICIOUS and there are tons of ways to use it! One of our favorite recipes is a Kefir Smoothie Bowl. This recipe is very versatile and super easy to make. Above is one bowl that we have made and here is what is included:
- 1/2 cup Kefir
- 1 banana
- handful of blueberries
- handful of raspberries
- nut/dried cranberry mix
- spoon full of organic peanut butter
- drizzled honey
If this isn't making your mouth water, something may be wrong with you (jk, but seriously). What we love about these Kefir Bowls is the ability to make them your own. You can add any kind of fruit imaginable, chocolate chips, coconut, chia seeds, flaxseed, and a variety of nuts and granola mixes. For a healthier choice, choose plain, rather than flavored, Kefir, because the sugar content is much lower.
